Entrance gates - sliding gates
Entrance gate It is the showpiece of the property and should fit in with its character, so o entrance gate It is a good idea to think about this at the planning stage for the entrance to the property and the external finishing of the building. This will help us avoid surprises and ensure that we know exactly what to look for.
The choice, as it often turns out, is not at all easy. We should keep in mind the two most important conditions that a gate must meet - it has to be, above all, safe to use and provide comfortable entry to the property.
Self-supporting sliding gates Thanks to their robust construction, they are ideal for closing off entrances to private properties, as well as for fencing off industrial facilities, storage halls, sports facilities, military sites, airports or multi-storey car parks, where operational reliability and site security are priorities. Manufactured in many designs and colours, they blend in perfectly with their surroundings.
Thanks to their robust, well-thought-out and recalculated construction, they can be used to close entrances of up to 12 metres in width, and by using two opposing gates, an entrance of 24 metres in width can be closed. The self-supporting design means that the gate leaf is cantilevered over the entrance. This guarantees smooth operation of the door regardless of the season. The gate leaf moving approximately 8 cm above the surface is not obstructed, even when the surface is covered with snow, ice or sand. The smooth movement of the door leaf is ensured by the smooth surface inside the track and the rollers made of durable, maintenance-free polyamide. The use of an overrunning roller ensures that the door leaf enters the gripper securely and smoothly.
For large industrial doors, we use a tensioning element that allows additional levelling of the door itself during installation, as well as correcting its position during use.
To increase the standard and convenience and if the plot is located by a busy street, it is worth equipping the gate with an electric drive controlled by a remote control. By controlling the gate in advance, we will avoid stopping the car on the road, which does not cause danger to traffic and pedestrians.
The electric operator provides a secure locking of the gate thanks to the use of a worm gear that prevents the gate leaf from being pushed through and the use of remote controls with a dynamically variable code. These are codes with several trillion combinations, which is virtually unique in use.
